Our vision at A Future and a Hope is
to provide a family atmosphere for orphans and rejected children in Kenya. We
do not have more than 12 children in each of our homes because we are not
institutional in our approach. We function like a family in all aspects of
the home. With that said, our current home is full. However,
it is our desire to establish more homes with loving house parents caring for
no more than 12 children in each home. We want to purchase enough acreage to build these
homes in a central location so our community of orphans and their house
parents can be together. We’d love to have enough land for farming and for
livestock to help sustain the homes as well. Our plan for the children at A Future and a Hope is to make sure they get the best
chance at life so that they can become caring adults who give back to their
community. |
