We
(Johnny & Kate) are freewill missionaries to Kenya and rely completely on
the generosity of individuals like you. We are so grateful for those who
sponsor us both monthly and on a project basis! |

· School Fees — $450 per child All of our girls at A Future and a Hope attend private schools. Every 3
months, we pay school fees of approximately $150 per child OR approximately $450 per year per child. We need sponsors. · Uniforms and Text Books— $70 per child In January, we must purchase school books and
uniforms. If you’d like to sponsor a child’s uniform, it’s $60 per child. |

· Little things in Care packages For a list of things we’d like, check out this
article on our
blog. If you don’t feel like going there,
here’s a few ideas: Spices (especially Chili Powder and Beef Stew mix),
Velveeta Cheese and Rotel, DVD’s, Snacks, soft contacts solution, Secret Deodorant, Pantene Shampoo, and
Books. |

|
· Playground stuff Kick balls, foursquare balls, bases (all not
available in Kenya), soccer balls & volley balls are available here but
are $22 each. Volley net, etc… are all things that we would love to have! |
|
· Microsoft Office Suite More specifically original Publisher, Access, Power
Point, and Excel software for Windows Vista · Digital Video Camera We don’t have a video camera to capture all of the
great stuff that is happening at AFAAH! · House Parents Please be in prayer with us about who should
‘parent’ our children in the future homes. · Furniture We need chest of drawers in our current home and
then furniture for our upcoming homes. · Land—$70,000 We would want to buy between 5 and 10 acres of land
so that instead of spending money on rent, we could invest it in A Future and a Hope by building homes and working the
land for our farming projects. Costs vary depending on location, but $70,000
would be a great start. · Interns/volunteers If you are interested in coming to Kenya, we could
use your help. Check out our
Intern page for
more information. · Oven—$900 Our oven is not baking properly. We bake our own
bread, lasagna, cakes, casseroles, etc… so it’s used every day! In Kenya, an
oven costs around $900. |

· Our BIGGEST need... ...is enough income to open a second home.
Our current home is full, and we have over 50 cases of orphans who need homes
right now. Some of these cases are teenage girls who sell themselves for as
little as 5 KES ($.06). The need is pressing to open more homes... |
